Sound Vision library musicial works and sound effects come complete with a buyout royalty-free license. This means you pay for the CD (or DVD) once and can use it as many times as you want, for as long as you want.

• If I buy Sound Vision library CDs do I become the owner of their contents?
No, the contents of Sound Vision library products are sols with a buyout royalty free license for use. This means that when you buy Sound Vision library products, you will obtain the right to synchronise the music and effects with productions created for you and your customers. You own the physical support , (CD/CD ROM/DVD) and the authorisation to use the contents for synchronisation with your productions, but the music and sound effects of Sound Vision library remain the property of the Producer/Publisher: SkillMedia Master srl.

• What do you mean by buyout royalty free?
With the buyout royalty-free license, the producer/publisher gives you the chance to use the musical compositions and sound effects for synchronisation with your animations, pictures and films, when and where you like, without any additional cost
(excluding Performance Rights & Mechanical Rights)

• What is the Sound Vision library synchronising license?
The Sound Vision library synchronising license is the authorisation to synchronise the musical compositions in Sound Vision library products with videos, films and animations for your projects or those created for your customers (editorials, company videos, multimedia presentations, flash animations, video clips, adverts, videogames). It is included with every Sound Vision library product: the file is called license.html. The synchronisation license must be kept with the purchase receipt for tax purposes.

• Why do I need a synchronisation license?
To synchronise the music to your productions it is necessary, for copyright reasons, to have a special synchronisation license released by the owner of the musical work (producer and publisher). In order to gain authorisation, you have to contact both the producer and the publisher of each piece of music you want to use. This is often very time-consuming and expensive. Every Sound Vision library product already has the synchronisation license, which means you can use the sound elements in the product immediately, without any practical or economic difficulty.

• Can I use Sound Vision library music and sound effects on a website?
Yes, but at the following conditions: you can synchronise Sound Vision library music and sound effects exclusively with website elements such as a rollover button or flash animation. You are not authorised to distribute the individual elements in any way, nor may you present the music and sound effects as available for downloading.

• Can I use Sound Vision library music and sound effects in a computer game developed by me?
Yes, but at the following conditions you must incorporate the Sound Vision library music and sound effects in the code of your videogame and they must not be accessible or available for downloading by the end user.

• Can I transfer the contents of a Sound Vision library CD ROM/DVD to the Hard Disk to optimise searching and speed up access?
Yes, if you’ve bought the related CD ROM or DVD you can transfer the contents to your Hard Disk. (This counts as a back up copy)
